The Great American Tax Strike

There are many www posts on Tax Strike 2008.  This is a copy of what I sent to the author of

April 15th – “The Great American Tax Strike” (U.S.A.)

What’s been said here is all relevant, but we’ve run out of time for all the diatribe about the Constitution and the Bill of Rights and the Amendments and the Courts.  Yes, the IRS is bad news, but they’re just enforcing the bad ideas of a political system run amuck.  The Fed’s manipulation of interest rates and the money supply is much worse news, for it’s that manipulation is the greatest cause of economic stability – we fairly well know by now, “don’t mess with mother nature”.  All the last-3  candidates avoid this like the plague.  Why?  They have no viable solution, not any more than you and I have.  We’re collapsing more every day.

I totally agree with a Tax Strike; it’s our only alternative now.  However, the reasoning falls seriously short of the mark.  Instead, examine the underlying morality of mysticism and force.

The only choice really allowed under our democracy as presently structured is choosing a Republican or Democrat.  Elect either and we will see only more of the same –  more war, more socialism, and more debt.  We won’t hear them mention:

  • the national debt of $9.442 trillion dollars on 10 Apr 2008; or
  • which was $5.662 trillion on 1 Jan 2001 and climbing ever since; or
  • interest on that debt averaging $35.75 billion in FY2007; or
  • that equals <$30,000 per citizen, so a family of 4 owes <$120,000.
  • the immoral causes which got the in this impossible mess,
  • their responsibilities for this immorality as members of Congress.

None of the candidates dares address the real issues.  The voters have no choice – they are forced to accept whatever the winning candidates foist upon them, which includes more war, more socialism, greater debt.  The people have been brainwashed to believe we are our brother’s keeper; that individual responsibility of each for themselves & families no longer counts; that the individual must subvert his mind to  those who claim superiority; that the majority makes the rules and enforces them upon the minority via taxation, which is theft by force, aka extortion.

Theft and Force are illegal within private society, where all rely on the principles of voluntary action.  Under democracy and majority rule, Theft via taxation is claimed to be legal and Force is used to collect those taxes.  Laws are enacted which force everyone to accept whatever immoral premise might be championed at the moment.  Not just the so-called majority, but all citizens; no Person or Minority is excused.

Under such system, no Person has true freedom, as freedom must include the right (and responsibility) to decide one’s own morality and act accordingly.

The USA is already bankrupt, we can only guess when the world will acknowledge that and react accordingly.  Come September OPEC will be deciding whether to switch from the dollar.  China and other creditors may decide to refuse the dollar anytime.  Many other scenarios are possible, all will make matters worse until the end.  That end will not be pretty.
