Morality is Liberty without Force

An examination of the recent 10th amendment state sovereignty movement with particular application from the work of Étienne de la Boétie. The central point from la Boétie is that tyrants can only succeed in their abuse so long as the people are willing to serve as the tyrant’s instruments, and that once they cease their support, the tyrant falls.

FTA”…almost 500 years ago by a revolutionary philosopher in the realm of natural rights (and peaceful resistance) named, Étienne de la Boétie…: “The fundamental political question is why do people obey a government. The answer is that they tend to enslave themselves, to let themselves be governed by tyrants. Freedom from servitude comes not from violent action, but from the refusal to serve. Tyrants fall when the people withdraw their support.”

Yes, each of us have our own minds. Why do we obey, why do we allow others to do our thinking for us, and make our decisions for us, and negate our personal lives? We must not! The good answer in this article is basically “Withdraw Your Support” and this immoral system will collapse as it deserves.

See also here on Morality101 the starting point of how to Withdraw and stop supporting… it’s the only Moral action remaining!

There is only one priority issue in this USA election 2008.

The issue is not national health care, nor the war in Iraq, nor global warming, nor immigration, nor drugs, nor abortion, nor ‘change’, nor raving preachers, nor oil prices, nor evil corporations… none of the above yet all of the above contribute to the issue before us.

This issue has come upon us thru a combination of all the above; virtually every politician at every level of government is responsible.  All three of the current stooges — the DemRep presidential candidates McCain, Obama & Clinton — are avoiding this issue.  Libertarian candidate Barr began with 163 days to become viable, but has wasted every day since and is now headed to Oxford in England to make a speech?  about nothing?  Just another stooge?

The media is also responsible; they are not addressing the issue either.  What are they waiting for?  Why is  not the collapse of our Dollar worth discussing?  How can that not impact the people of this world?

The single issue of any relevance in the real world is the ongoing USA economic collapse.

Right here on Morality101 are posts discussing the causes & effects, with the basis for the necessary solution.  I choose not to repeat them in this post, but ask you to surf this website to gain some understanding.  With several others, we have been trying so very hard to bring this issue to the forefront, but it’s been like talking to a wall.  The ostriches have their heads in the sand, but having been well brainwashed for several generations, perhaps they can no longer think for themselves?

It seems to me that this issue has passed any point of recovery, with no viable solution except in the very long run.  The collapse will continue until it wipes out our USA, with the devastating impact extending around the globe.  Calling this “gloom and doom” will not stop the collapse, nor make it go away.   But this collapse is likely to make you and many others go away, while those who survive will endure yet another Dark Age.

It’s all so simple – what do you not get about the morality of the free individual?

The USA is rapidly collapsing & beyond saving with more manipulating. Thus all these blogs re: tax law/code (or not) are moot.

I have been an objectivist my entire long life, and a libertarian from the beginning. Such are a moral philosophy and largely apolitical, but the moral foundation for liberty.

Three generations of brainwashing for sacrifice by immoral mystics and  bleeding heart collectivists have left the public unable to reason, abdicating individual responsibility & leaving everyone at the trough. Well, the trough will soon run dry.

After 3 generations of subtle brainwashing, we have ceded our moral rights to our freedom, our property, and the very life upon which those depend.  The only way of recovery is ending our support of a system which ignores morality and forces socialism upon everyone. To continue support of this immorality is equally immoral.

So simply withdraw your support… This means …

  • Suit filing taxes, quietly and without notice
  • Never file another 1040
  • Cancel any withholding, or
  • Become part of the underground economy.
  • Do not respond to IRS notices,
  • Never cooperate in demands for your personal records, which violate your rights to be secure in same,
  • Don’t lie, fudge or cheat,
  • Simply quit filing and
  • Certainly quit paying.

Unlawful? Perhaps… perhaps not… So what? Will we go to jail? Probably not — it will take time for the IRS to notice all the missing returns. While tax FRAUD may send one to jail, merely not filing may not. Do you really want to continue an immoral system? To support immorality is equally immoral. For more about the laws and your Constitutional protections in this regard, see our categoryhttp://morality101.net/blog/category/5-tax-strike/

How will this save the USA? It won’t; we’ve reached the point where nothing can.  The latest-greatest attempts via bailouts have increased the national debt to unmanageable.  So why throw good money after bad and prolong the agony? Besides, most of us will need every dollar to survive the collapse – to give it away – don’t you want your family to eat? Now of course that assumes that one acts to avoid hyperinflation before his dollar becomes worthless, meaning it’ll buy nothing.

A huge part of the goal here at Morality101 is restructuring the system based on objective morality. That’s very necessary if we are not to simply have more of the same.

Laws are not necessarily moral; no law (taxes) which forcibly steals our property (money) is moral. So it’s time to decide what’s important. If we fail to take action toward a positive morality, we must share the blame for the disastrous times ahead.

As more and more simply withdraw, the then-unpaid bureaucrats and politicians will have to hunt real jobs in the free market. Will they be around to harass you?  As the body of tax strikers grows, there numbers of these bureaucrats will diminish to naught. As this grows, a declaration of martial law could become an empty threat, right?  Do you really believe that Bush and Cheney and Hillary and McCain and Obama will donate their personal fortunes in an effort to continue the status-quo and maintain their ill-gained power?

They have already done their damage while we have had no voice to stop it.  When is enough… enough?

Okay, will try to make this short ‘n sweet, but there’s a lot to say!  If you just don’t get this, perhaps you need to study other pages here on Morality101 and participate in this blogger!

Without doubt, this collapse will wipe us out. The unfunded tax refund payout in May, along with current tinkering by the Federal Reserve Board, increases the money supply as it increases the debt, and thus promises only to increase the rate of inflation, not the rate of prosperity and freedom.   If the Fed soon  strives for deflation, the resulting depression merely makes a different path to the bottom; 1929 will seem like a lark. As they say, “bring it ON!”.

So the collapse is inevitable anyway, and will trigger the same world-wide. Pulling the 2nd trigger on this shotgun will be done by China, OPEC, and the host of others will follow whenever they finally can no longer accept our worthless dollars and that the USA is in unrecoverable default. We’re all ahead just to acknowledge our fate, bite the bullet, move thru this as quickly as possible, and re-start from the bottom with a system based on the morality of freedom and individual rights.

Revolution  has no hope of success and, sans a moral alternative to the current insanity, offers no relief. A moral society, assuming somehow such may become possible, cannot include force amongst it’s premises.

There are  few politicians, with the knowledge, courage and desire to correct this course to disaster. Even a libertarian president cannot unravel this mess alone, it being necessary to find consensus amongst a congress comprised almost entirely of politicians whose main objective is not morality, it is re-election.

The loss of our rights and freedom, property and choice (thus life) can be ended only by withdrawing our support for this nonsense. That present support is our taxes, taken by force from a citizenry which has neither political alternative nor recourse. A TAX-STRIKE seems the only possibility and the only moral alternative. A taxstrike is an individual choice, not requiring an organization nor another useless political party nor even publicity which would increase one’s exposure to “the law”.

There be considerable wasted debate about whether the tax law and codes are enforceable. What on earth does that matter? We’re collapsing NOW, for goodness sake! There’s no more time for debate, it is time for action (or is that inaction?)! We have a moral obligation to resist the wrongs at hand. Without active resistance like the Tea Party, would the USA ever have come into existence?

So go on strike — DO IT NOW!! Cancel your withholding or just quit your employer if you can. Never file another 1040. And never accept force, not now, now ever again! Be prudent, strike quietly, but do it! Encourage those you trust to do the same. It seems to me that the gestapo is much more interested in pursuing fraud (under-reporting, etc) than chasing down a simple missing 1040. They won’t even notice it for a year! The jails are already overflowing anyway, where would they put us, and how would they feed us and pay for our incarceration? Each tax striker will probably cause the unemployment of one politician or bureaucrat or enforcer — they won’t stay long without paychecks — think about it! And think of the extra money you’ll have to fulfill the desires of the of the future.

And now, of course, we come to the verbiage we all love to ignore. Nothing in this blog, or anywhere on this Morality101.net website, shall be in any way construed as legal advice. All of us are on our own, taking our chances with this tax-strike strategy.   We are all responsible for our own personal actions. While I believe this website is ‘secure’ in not revealing subscriber information, and certainly I will not release any of the little information I have, I can’t prevent the gestapo from digging deeper, and am telling you that the tracks cannot be completely obscured from such – they would claim to have the law on their side, right?

the 95 years prior to the Federal Reserve beginning:

What cost $1.00 in 1818 would cost $0.62 in 1913.
Also, if you were to buy exactly the same products in 1913 and 1818,
they would cost you $1.00 and $1.66 respectively.

the 95 years after 1913 under Federal Reserve manipulation:

What cost $1.00 in 1913 would cost $21.23 in 2007.
Also, if you were to buy exactly the same products in 2007 and 1913,
they would cost you $1.00 and $0.05 respectively.

How can anyone truly keep up if The Fed in cahoots with the government causing the dollar to fall faster than real returns on savings & investmets?  These days the government jabber focuses on “acceptable” rate of inflation — only ZERO inflation is acceptable!

Inflation and the National Debt today are unmanageable and causing the now-inevitable ecomoic collapse of the USA.  Do you really believe this system deserves your further support?  Can you suggest alternatives

It’s past time to WITHDRAW!  Let’s hear from you!

Nothing is “up” with the dollar, it’s all down, and it’s all downhill from here. Why?

Foolish manipulation and expansion of the money supply by the Fed — we think those people are smarter than we are, but WRONG!

Expansion of the money supply via the stimulus tax rebate and etc; all being piled atop the national debt of over $30,000 per person.

Bailouts of both borrows and lenders in the so-called housing crunch, again added to the national debt.

Immoral socialist schemes which require forced taxation, as they would die on the vine except for using force. We are not our brother’s keeper, it’s not even possible.

It’s nothing really new — the dollar of 1913 (the year of the onslaught of The Fed) is now worth only 4 cents and falling.

There are no winners; we’re in collapse and all will be horribly hurt as the inflation gains momentum. We’re in collapse. It’s already too insurmountable and too late to stop.

It’s long past time to withdraw your support. It won’t help the current situation, but hopefully next time around some rationality will prevail.

Tax day is now near. We’re seeing some rather lightweight efforts for protests that day at the Federal Buildings and Post Offices. That alone won’t accomplish all that’s needed, but at least there’s a bit of noise being made.

http://orangecounty.craigslist.org/pol/625161622.html blogs:

“If you read Clause 1 from Article 1, Section 8 of The Constitution it states that “The Congress shall have power to lay and collect taxes, duties, imposts and excises, to pay the debts and provide for the common defence and general welfare of the United States; but all duties, imposts and excises shall be uniform throughout the United States”

The 16th Amendment of the Constitution states that “The Congress shall have power to lay and collect taxes on incomes, from whatever source derived, without apportionment among the several States, and without regard to any census or enumeration.”  However, there is much disagreement as to whether the 16th Amendment was properly ratified, something which you can research if you wish.  There is also the argument that the above Article 1, Section 8 does not include taxes on income, which has won in court cases against the IRS.

Again, don’t consider this legal advice, merely a quote. But “legal”?  Just because a majority of congress passes a bill which is not the will of the people doesn’t mean it is either legal (under the Constitution) or moral (as conforming to true autonomy and choice of the individual).  When we see our world collapsing around us because of taxation “for the greater good, it becomes time to refuse.  To continue supporting the force of a collectivist society when no options remain to correct the wrongs, is both immoral and foolish.

Withdrawing our support for the immorality, by not filing tax returns, nor by paying taxes nor by not allowing withholding, seems the only alternative.  The USA economic collapse continues to get worse with each regulatory or bailout “solution” attempted.

Tax Strike is not only about this April 15th, it’s about from this day forward.
